Washing & Care Instructions
Wash your wool products according to the instructions; if no instructions are available, we recommend washing at 30 degrees with a wool program using wool detergent.
If an item is labeled hand wash, it means it should only be washed by hand, not in a washing machine's hand wash program.
For our slippers, we recommend hand washing with wool detergent
Washing Instructions for Organic Leather
Light Soiling
- Use a lint roller, vacuum, or wipe with a damp sponge in lukewarm water.
Tough Soiling
- For tougher stains, a mild liquid detergent can be used, specifically one intended for wool. Make sure the detergent is free from phosphates, enzymes, peroxides, bleaches, and alkalis.
- In case of very heavy soiling, the leather can be soaked overnight in cold water.
Important Tips
- Never use bleach.
- Pull and rub the leather while it is damp to restore its softness.
- Do not iron the leather.
- Avoid exposing the skin to extreme heat and direct sunlight.
- The sheepskin can be dry cleaned if needed.
- Dry the leather flat or hanging at room temperature for best results.
